The inaugural 2026 Mighty Minds Expo brought together more than 70 students from across Georgia for a day dedicated to strengthening young minds and promoting mental wellness. Held in District 10, the Expo was presented in partnership with the Mayor's Office through the leadership of Councilwoman Andrea Boone, demonstrating a shared commitment to investing in the mental health and well-being of Atlanta's youth.

Throughout the day, students participated in engaging leadership workshops, mindful movement, emotional regulation activities, art therapy, and healthy eating experiences. Each session provided practical tools for building confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being in a fun, interactive environment.

The event was honored by the presence of Councilman Byron Amos and Councilman Antonio Lewis, whose support reinforced the importance of prioritizing youth mental health across our communities.

By the end of the day, participants left feeling inspired, reassured, and empowered with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to care for their mental health and become the positive change they wish to see in their schools, families, and communities.
